Terms and conditions1. Fly fishing only permitted for Salmon Sea trout and Brown trout the Caton water of the Association when the River is 2 feet and below all on the Caton gauge (also available on the EA website). 2. All salmon to be returned to the river alive. 3. All kinds of maggot shrimp and prawn fishing are prohibited. 4. Barbless or circle hooks are compulsory when worming and anglers shall carry forceps or other efficient unhooking tool with them. 5. All fish landed from the Association waters which are hooked otherwise than in the mouth shall be returned to the river alive. No Brown trout less than 10 inches and no Sea Trout less than 12 inches from fork to tail must be taken from LD AA waters. Bag limit 4 Brown trout 6. During the month of March fly fishing only is permitted for Brown trout. 7. No one must monopolise any pool or part of a pool if other anglers are waiting to fish. All anglers must move at a reasonable rate. 8. Anglers must have taken out the association's permit and hold a license from the EA before starting to fish. The Association permit must be shown to the bailiff or any member of LDAA on request. 9. Anglers must not take dogs with them when fishing LDAA waters. 10. A catch return giving details of fish caught must be returned to the Secretary.
